I’m pretty late on this one, but I thought I’d post just to make sure everyone knows I’m still alive!
Work has been getting pretty out of hand for the past couple of weeks, and a couple of ‘life’ issues have cropped up as well (not the least of which has been a root canal!) (I’ve been clocking ~60+ hours over 4.5 days/week… It isn’t actually too bad as long as you just kind of ‘surrender’ to the fact that it is what it is, and make that the main part of your week- no going home and switching the telly on for a couple hours each night!)
I have been able to get a few breaks in the last couple of weeks, and I’ve been making use of some of that time to watch JavaScript tutorials, but I feel like I haven’t been able to do any coding for the longest time now!
I have a couple of personal projects lined up that I’m really excited about, so as soon as I get started on them I’ll be posting and seeing what people think.
I think I’m really missing out on something by not listening to any coding podcasts. My commute’s about forty minutes each way, and I think I could really increase my knowledge by listening to a coding podcast even just a few times a week. Apart from the CodeNewbie podcast, I don’t really know where to start.
If anyone has any podcasts that they subscribe to, particularly if it’s about JavaScript or coding in general, I’d love to hear about it!
The only coding related podcast I hear (apart from CodeNewbie) is the Simple Programer Podcast. However it’s about developers soft skills, they don’t get technical.
